This is a great way to meet your child's needs. Homeschooling has changed as it has gained in popularity. There are many opportunities for your child to interact with other children on a regular basis.

Gifted children thrive when they are able to work at their own pace and follow their interests. Definitely something to consider. happy I'm a homeschooling mom and former public school teacher..

There are many sites about homeschooling gifted children. I'll just mention one:

I am a big believer in homeschooling. If I were just starting out as the parent of school-age children, it would be the way I would choose. I have many friends who homeschool and see the benefits every day. Thanks for the link!

I find that, by working from home, I have the ability to spend time creating activities for my little one. I'm really glad I decided to become a consultant, since I'd miss so much of this and I'd have to hand it off to someone who just sees it as a job.
